Katie Lookhart began her career in education in 2007 as a Chemistry teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. However, she was unable to fully implement her ideas until working with Connections Academy in the spring of 2018. Through the decade she discovered a passion for individualizing learning to meet the needs of students.
The Benefits of K-12 Online Learning
In the virtual setting, I am able to access each student with fidelity using the Pearson Curriculum and the many opportunities for interventions that are available. Through my time at Lighthouse Connections Academy, my favorite part is the collaboration. Through the collaboration of the Lighthouse Connections Academy staff, we create an amazing team with students and parents to encourage full potential in students.
