Ashley Smigiel has been Manager of Special Education at Lighthouse Connections Academy since 2021. She’s passionate about her work and is deeply committed to helping every student thrive and succeed.
For the first ten years of her career, Mrs. Smigiel worked as a school-based speech-language pathologist and special education coordinator in a variety of school settings in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.
She has a passion for special education and wants to ensure that all students have equal access to education in an environment that best suits their individual needs. Mrs. Smigiel strives to support all students in achieving their personal and academic goals.
