Members of the graduating class will pursue a variety of postsecondary pathways, including higher education, workforce opportunities, military service, and career training programs.
Graduation Quotes from TEC Connections Academy
“The Class of 2026 represents the very best of what is possible when students are empowered to learn in ways that meet their individual needs,” said Dr. Patrick Lattuca, Superintendent of TEC Connections Academy. “These graduates have demonstrated resilience, determination, and a commitment to their goals. We are proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see the impact they will make in their communities, workplaces, and colleges in the years ahead. “For graduate Lileigh B., TECCA provided the flexibility and support needed to balance academic excellence with personal well-being. After transferring to the school during her sophomore year, she excelled in Advanced Placement and honors coursework while participating in dual enrollment, National Honor Society, and a teaching internship. This fall, she will attend the University of Rhode Island to study nursing.
“TECCA allowed me to challenge myself academically while also prioritizing my health,” said Lileigh. “The opportunities I experienced here helped me grow as a student, build meaningful connections, and prepare for my future.”
Graduate Mia, credits the school’s supportive learning environment and dedicated educators with helping her gain confidence and pursue ambitious goals for the future.
“The teachers and staff were always there when I needed support,” she said. “They encouraged me to believe in myself and helped me grow both academically and personally. Their support inspired me to continue my education and pursue a career where I can make a difference in the lives of others.”
Mia plans to attend UMass Boston to study biochemistry and ultimately pursue a career as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
“As the Class of 2026 embarks on its next steps, graduates leave with more than a diploma,” said Lattuca. “They carry forward the knowledge, confidence, and resilience they have developed throughout their educational journeys, along with the support of a community that has celebrated their successes every step of the way.”
This year’s graduating class also marks an important milestone in the school’s history as the final class to graduate under the TEC Connections Academy name. Beginning July 1, the school will become Massachusetts Connections Academy, continuing its commitment to serving students and families across the Commonwealth through a flexible, student-centered public education program.
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open for grades K-12. Families interested in enrollment are encouraged to attend an online information session to learn more, ask questions and discover if virtual school is the right fit for their student.
