How Many Credits Do You Need to Graduate High School in Massachusetts?
While achieving a specific score on the MCAS is no longer a graduation requirement, participation in these assessments remains mandatory under Massachusetts state law and the TEC Connections Academy handbook.
The course credits required to graduate online schooling for high school are included below.
TEC Connections Academy High School Credit Requirements
- English: 4 credits
- Math: 4 credits (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II, any additional Math course)
- Social Studies: 4 credits (US History I, US History II, World History and any additional Social Studies elective)
- Science: 3 credits (Biology, Chemistry, any additional Lab Science)
- Physical Education: 1 credit
- Health: 1 credit
- Art: 1 credit
- World Language: 2 credits (must be two levels of the same World Language)
- College and Career: 2 credits
- Electives: 2 credits (any approved elective course)
