Beginning July 1, 2026, TEC Connections Academy will become Massachusetts Connections Academy. While our name will be changing, our commitment to Massachusetts families and to providing a high-quality, supportive full-time online education will remain the same.
We are updating our name to better reflect our statewide reach and growing community. Massachusetts Connections Academy will represent our role as a leading virtual school serving students across the Commonwealth.
Families can expect the same high-quality curriculum, experienced and caring teachers, meaningful connections, and supportive learning environment they know and trust. Only our name will be changing. Our dedication to student success will not.

At TEC Connections Academy, we offer the support students need to meet Massachusetts graduation requirements.
TEC Connections Academy works closely with families to ensure that students understand graduation requirements in Massachusetts and have the support they need to fulfill those requirements. Our comprehensive high school curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the classroom—long after graduation.
Students who attend online school and meet Massachusetts graduation requirements receive the same diploma as their peers who attend brick-and-mortar public schools in the state.
While achieving a specific score on the MCAS is no longer a graduation requirement, participation in these assessments remains mandatory under Massachusetts state law and the TEC Connections Academy handbook.
