Why I Became a Teacher
My mother was a teacher, and I grew up knowing I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I greatly enjoy interacting with children, fostering their love of learning, and helping them achieve their personal best.
The Online School Experience at Kansas Connections Academy
I enjoy having the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families. In the virtual classroom, we have the flexibility to provide the differentiated supports needed to ensure our students thrive.
The Kansas Connections Academy community is beautifully diverse. We have students from all across the state who chose this school for a multitude of reasons. Being part of a learning community that meets the academic needs of each individual student and provides a “just-right learning environment” is very rewarding.

My Personal Interests
My family and I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. We can frequently be found biking, hiking, and camping. I also enjoy cheering my children on at their various sporting events.
