Eli Aldana is an elementary school student at our school and, at just nine years of age, is an extraordinary athlete. He competes in slopestyle skiing, ski cross, jiujitsu, BMX biking, motocross racing, and Jet Skiing.

Student Spotlight: Eli Aldana
Eli’s parents have a goal: to be a “modern, athletic family.” They use sports and the flexible schooling of Colorado Connections Academy to foster well-rounded kids. At the same time Eli attends our school, he competes in slopestyle skiing, ski cross, jiujitsu, BMX biking, motocross racing, and Jet Skiing.
Eli doesn’t just participate in these sports, but excels at a high level. He’s an undefeated, back-to-back state champion in jiujitsu, with over 200 wins and 50 competitions under his belt. At Copper Mountain Resort’s Rocky Mountain Series regional competitions, Eli racked up several accolades, including two fifth place finishes in free-ski slopestyle and fifth and sixth place finishes in ski cross.
Due in large part to his athletic accomplishments, Eli has almost 20,000 followers on Instagram. Keep in mind, he’s only nine.
