Angela George
Elementary School Teacher
Angela George is an elementary school teacher at California Connections Academy. She began her teaching career in 2003 and has been teaching at California Connections Academy since 2013. Ms. George received her bachelor of science degree and a multiple subject teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento. She has taught all grades from kindergarten through sixth grade.
When asked about her experiences as a teacher, Ms. George said, “I absolutely love being a teacher, and I could not imagine doing any other profession! Children bring laughter and joy into my life like nothing else in the world. Working at California Connections Academy has given me a unique opportunity to effectively connect with students and families. Through bi-weekly phone calls, LiveLesson® sessions, and field trips, I am able to learn more about my students and establish strong bonds with them.
As a teacher, my goal is to help students to become successful in school and in life. One benefit of teaching in an online school is that I have the ability to provide one-on-one support and personalize my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of my students. In doing so, I can help students reach their potential and encourage them to become life-long learners.
