Why I Became an Educator
I became an educator because my fifth-grade teacher was the only adult who was able to reach me in a positive way through reading and writing. Her ability to do such great work that impacted my entire life was something I will never forget. I wanted to be that one adult for a student that may need someone to believe in them and have the power to change their lives too.

Some Personal Interests
I am a cyclist. When the world is not in a current pandemic, I participate in races throughout the state and other parts of the country. I just started gravel racing and mountain bike riding, and I also road bike. Being outside doing things with my hands, spending time with my Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, watching Netflix, and reading Young Adult fiction are also some of my favorite things to do. Family is everything to me. My Mom, Dad, three sisters, and one brother are very important to me.
