Texas Connections Academy Enrollment
Enrollment for the 2012–13 School Year
Enrollment for the 2012–13 school year is open for grades 3–11*. Texas Connections Academy @ Houston has an enrollment cap of 2,500 students. Students will be enrolled on a first come/first served basis as their enrollment tasks are completed and as long as space permits. Students for whom space is not available will be placed on a waiting list and released to enroll as space becomes available in their grade.
Before you start the enrollment process, take time to consider our program and whether it is a good fit for you and your family, then follow the steps in our enrollment process outlined below.
How to Enroll

Step 1. Eligibility: Check the eligibility requirements to be sure your student is eligible to participate in our program.

Step 2. Apply: Complete the online application form.
- Step 3. Documents: Log into Connexus® to see what documents you need to submit (i.e., birth certificate, proof of residency, report card, etc.) and send to us via:

Step 4. Verification: Log into Connexus regularly to see the verification status of your documents and review your student’s enrollment status.

Step 5. Final Confirmation: Once you log into Connexus and click the “Final Confirmation” link, you are enrolled! We will ship your free course materials and assign your student’s teachers.
Enroll Online
To enroll online you will need an email address and regular access to a computer. You’ll start by creating an account with us and providing some information about your student and family using the online Registration form. Once you’ve completed setting up your account, you’ll have 24-hour access to your personalized Caretaker homepage, where you’ll find updates on your family’s enrollment progress and easy access to tools like the Document Uploader.

*Offering the 11th grade level has been approved for 2012–13 school year, however we are in the process of receiving 11th grade course approvals from the state. Once the course approvals have been completed, we will make a formal announcement to families in the process. Please complete all necessary enrollment tasks in the meantime so that your 11th grade student is not delayed in starting school .
