Customized Learning

Students learn best when lessons match their interests and abilities. Studies have shown that in conventional classrooms many instructional tasks are not matched to students’ skill levels.

Personalized Learning Approach

At National Connections Academy, each student receives individualized instruction, including lessons tailored to that student’s academic strengths and weaknesses.

This is our Personalized Performance Learning® (PPL) approach—a dynamic process through which we evaluate each student's strengths and needs. We then develop individual approaches that work for the student along with our curriculum—all year long.

While National Connections Academy tailors learning to each individual student's needs, we also offer several unique, targeted instruction programs designed to serve a range of student needs:

  • Students in grades 3 through 8 may be enrolled in gifted courses in language arts and mathematics.
  • Upper school students can choose a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that provides an opportunity for students to participate in Honors and Advanced Placement courses.
  • Some upper school students may prefer our Dual Diploma Program which allows students to complete their Associates of Arts degree in four years, or a Bachelor of Arts degree in six years, through a special partnership with the American Public University.
Accreditation:

National Connections Academy is accredited by The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
