The Role of the Online Student

Each and every student has unique abilities, and all students perform better when they receive individual attention. With support and personal attention from teachers, and a Learning Coach at home to facilitate learning and keep students on track, students are empowered to succeed. At Connections Academy, the student role in online learning and the amount of hands-on time students spend with their Learning Coach is generally determined by the student’s age. As a student’s abilities grow, Learning Coach involvement lessens and the student’s responsibilities and independence grow.
