A Free New Mexico Online School

Important Information

While New Mexico Connections Academy (NMCA) has been approved to open for the 2013–14 school year by action of the New Mexico Secretary of Education, a legal review of the school’s authorization is currently being conducted. Also, the NMCA Governing Council’s provider selection process is still in progress. We fully expect these matters to be resolved in time for either the school to open in fall 2013 or for families interested in enrolling to find a suitable alternative to NMCA.

The NMCA Governing Council has authorized Connections Academy to provisionally enroll students while the school’s authorization status and provider selection are being determined. We encourage any families interested in New Mexico Connections Academy to enroll their students provisionally at this time, as the school will be limited to just 500 students.
