Michigan Connections Academy offers two schools for the 2011–12 school year—Michigan Connections Academy, our statewide K—12 online public school, and Fusion Academy of Michigan, a program designed to help students who have dropped out of high school finish their diploma.
Michigan Connections Academy—Free K–12 School
Students throughout Michigan are thriving at Michigan Connections Academy (MICA), a tuition-free online public school, also known as a cyber charter school. MICA gives students the flexibility to learn at home with a curriculum that meets rigorous state education standards. Fusion Academy of Michigan—Finish High School
Fusion Academy of Michigan offers students who have dropped out of high school the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, not a GED.
Detroit residents can attend classes at one of our two Detroit-based campuses and do some coursework from home. Students outside of Detroit are able to complete all of their coursework from home.
