Wyoming Connections Academy Celebrates the Graduating Class of 2026
The online public education program honors 68 graduating seniors during in-person celebration
Cody, Wyo. (June 6, 2026) – Wyoming Connections Academy, the state’s leading tuition-free, online program for students in grades K-12, honored the graduates of the Class of 2026 with a commencement ceremony held at the Victor J. Riley Arena and Community Events Center on Saturday, June 6. The ceremony brought together students, families and educators to celebrate more than 68 graduates from across Wyoming.
This year’s graduating class includes graduates from communities statewide who have completed their high school journey through the personalized online learning model that Wyoming Connections Academy offers. Of this year’s graduating class, more than 34 percent plan to pursue higher education at two- or four-year colleges and universities, nearly 18 percent will enter vocational training programs, and 20% percent intend to join the workforce, with others choosing to travel or take a gap year.

Wyoming Connections Academy supports more than 600 students through a fully online learning environment, offering a comprehensive virtual school experience that keeps students motivated and engaged with a strong circle of support and a deep sense of belonging. The school's team of supportive and experienced educators, specially trained in online instruction, establish meaningful connections with students, helping them achieve their full potential and reach their goals. Available to middle and high school students, the program blends core academic coursework with industry-aligned, career-focused pathways, including IT, business, health sciences, and marketing. Students also build durable skills such as leadership, critical thinking, and teamwork, while gaining access to career exploration and industry networking opportunities that help them build confidence, make connections, and clarify their future goals.
