Preparing Online Students for Graduation

Connections Academy provides in-depth support to ensure that online school students understand their graduation requirements and are well prepared for life beyond high school.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Students must successfully earn a minimum of 26 credits to graduate. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. The course credits required to graduate include:

  • Language arts: 4 credits
  • Math: 3 credits
  • Social studies: 3 credits (including World History, U.S. History, Government and Economics)
  • Science: 3 credits (including Biology and Physical Science)
  • Health: 0.5 credit
  • Physical education: 0.5 credit
  • Fine or Performing Arts: 0.5 credit
  • Career/Vocational: 1 credit
  • Additional 10.5 credits of electives are required
