Technology Support Services

Tennessee Connections Academy’s technology support staff members have an expansive knowledge of computer technology and Pearson Online Classroom (formerly known as Connexus®). They will help you to troubleshoot any problems you are having with Pearson Online Classroom using remote diagnostic tools that allow them to “see” a student's computer and correct problems from afar. We provides extensive technical support for students and parents via toll-free phone service and email (9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday).

 

Connections Academy provides numerous online resources for parents, students, and staff. The extensive Online Help system is searchable and easy to use. It contains a wide array of how-to topics about:

  • Using features of Pearson Online Classroom
  • Troubleshooting problems with your computer
  • Using the software on your computer
  • And much, much more!

Connections Academy also provides detailed training online that is interactive and engaging. It covers topics such as:

  • Helping your child be successful in a virtual school
  • Staying organized
  • Curriculum differences across grade levels
  • Using Pearson Online Classroom

How to Reset Your Password

The instructions listed below describe how to reset your Pearson Online Classroom password if you have forgotten your password or wish to change it.

Step 1: Verify the user account.

You will need to have your username and the email address that is associated with your account. If you have forgotten your username or email, please call the support representative for assistance at 1-800-382-6010 or email us at support@connexus.com.

Step 2: An email will be sent.

Once you have submitted your user verification, further instructions will be sent to the email address that is associated with your account. If you are unable to find this email in your inbox or junk mail folder, please contact the support representative for assistance.

Step 3: Create a new password.

To confirm your request for a new password, you must click on the link that is provided in the email. You will be asked to create a new password, which must meet the following criteria:

  • be at least 8 characters in length;
  • contain at least 1 lowercase and 1 uppercase letter;
  • contain at least 1 number (0–9); and
  • contain at least 1 special character (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *)
Submit the new password to complete the request! You will be redirected to the Pearson Online Classroom login page, where you can now log in and access your user account.
