“Watching our Class of 2024 rise to meet challenges and celebrate their victories has been truly inspiring,” said Chris Long, executive director of Willamette Connections Academy. “While it's always tough to part ways with our seniors, knowing the remarkable growth they've shown here both in classrooms and as individuals fills me with immense pride. I am incredibly proud of our graduates and extend my best wishes to them in all their future pursuits.”
Abigael Boivin, Medford resident and Willamette Connections Academy graduate, enrolled for her senior year to focus on her modeling career. “I could do my schoolwork on the go or work ahead as needed if I knew I would be traveling for an extended period of time,” said Abigael. “My teachers were always available, and I could reach out to them anytime via phone or text. It was comforting and gave me peace of mind when I was travelling and doing schoolwork because I always knew I had someone I could reach out to.” Abigael travels frequently both internationally and domestically for her modeling career and Willamette Connections Academy allowed her to pursue opportunities she would not have had access to within a traditional brick-and-mortar school setting.
