4th Grade Student
Ameer, a fourth grader, is thriving at our school. According to his teacher, “When he interacts with his classmates, he is very kind and tries to talk to each of them. He shows a great deal of responsibility when completing daily lessons and tasks.”
Ameer's Thriving Online Experience
Ameer’s family enrolled him in our school in 2021 to be in a more challenging learning environment. According to his mother, “Ameer attended kindergarten in a traditional public school. . . . He would sometimes get bored because he had already learned a lot of the material. Ohio Connections Academy is more advanced . . . and even though it can be challenging at times, Ameer is never bored and pushes himself to excel.”
Ameer’s favorite subjects are art, math, and science. He has loved drawing and painting since he was a toddler because it makes him feel calm and relaxed. Ameer also loves working with numbers, especially adding six- and seven-digit numbers. In science, he loves to do experiments and learn about weather, outer space, and natural disasters.
