Jolene Ortiz

Jolene Ortiz is a passionate educator and school principal with over 15 years of experience serving students and families in a variety of roles, including special education teacher, school counselor, and administrator.
She holds master’s degrees in Special Education, School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, and Educational Administration, and is currently completing her EdD in Educational Leadership.
As a Principal, Jolene believes that the most meaningful school improvement happens through collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility. She is committed to building a supportive school culture where educators feel valued, families feel heard, and students are placed at the center of every decision. Her leadership approach is grounded in the belief that every student can succeed when provided with high expectations, strong relationships, and the right systems of support.
With a “whatever it takes” mindset, Jolene works alongside staff to remove barriers, strengthen instruction, and ensure every learner has access to the opportunities they deserve.
