Nancy Day
Secondary School Teacher
Nancy Day teaches science and chemistry at Minnesota Connections Academy. She graduated from St. Catherine’s University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and received her master’s degree in teaching. Mrs. Day also has a teaching license from Bethel University. She shares her story below.
“I became a teacher because I enjoy sharing my love of science with students. It is fun to see them enjoy learning about science! Like our students, I appreciate the flexibility of online schooling. The benefit of teaching at an online school versus a bricks-and-mortar school is a teacher’s ability to work with students one-on-one. This allows me to differentiate instruction for everyone—from the struggling student to the high-achieving student.
If you decide to enroll your child in Minnesota Connections Academy, he or she will do experiments in science class!”
