Middle School Student
Peter is a sixth grader at Minnesota Connections Academy. His favorite subject? Math. According to Peter’s mom and Learning Coach, “it’s surprising he enjoys math since this was a subject he struggled with when he was at our local school.” Outside of school, Peter is passionate about soccer, reading, hunting, and fishing.
Why Peter’s Family Chose Our School
Reports Peter’s mom, “We [selected Minnesota Connections Academy because we] wanted to be more involved in his schooling and be more aware of the curriculum being taught.” Says Peter, “I feel like I have a good relationship with my teachers. They all seem to take interest in me and the things I like to do.”
The Online School Experience at Minnesota Connections Academy
Our school works well for Peter. According to his mom, attending Minnesota Connections Academy gives him “the ability to take breaks and move around when needed. This program allows Peter to go at his own pace and not have to wait for others to finish their work before moving on. … [It also] reduces outside distractions from other students.”
