High School Graduation Requirements
Students must successfully earn a minimum of 22.5 credits to graduate and also take state tests. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. The course credits required to graduate include:
- Language arts: 4 credits
- Math: 4 credits (including Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II)
- Science: 3 credits (including Life Science, Physical Science, and an Advanced Science)
- Social studies: 3 credits (including U.S. History, World History, Economics and Government)
- Health and physical education: 1 credit
- Fine arts: 1 credit
- World language*: 2 credits
- Other electives: 4.5 credits
* Must be two years of the same language. Students can elect to take one year of World Language and two years of VPAA.
