Nicole Buckley

Elementary School Assistant Principal

B.A. Psychology, Clark University; M.Ed. Early Childhood Education, The College of Saint Rose

Nicole Buckley knows exactly why she got into the field of education: She was inspired by the many remarkable teachers and other educators who made such a difference in her life when she was a child. Her career is an opportunity to positively impact the next generation.

A Unique Learning Environment

Mrs. Buckley started at Connections Academy during the second half of the 2015-2016 school year, initially as a teacher in the elementary school. Several years later, she transitioned to her current role as elementary school assistant principal.

Mrs. Buckley especially enjoys working with both students and their families at the school. She feels that one of the most important responsibilities as assistant principal is to provide a welcoming, student-centered environment for everyone. She believes that Connections Academy offers a unique learning environment for its students, and she is delighted to see how much the school has grown throughout the years.

Books, Books, and Audiobooks

Mrs. Buckley’s outside interests are perhaps what the world hopes for – and maybe expects – from educators. She loves books. In fact, she’s been a trustee of her local library for almost as long as she’s been at TEC Connections Academy.

In addition to reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, she loves traveling with her family and spoiling her dog.
