From an early age, Beth Hayes knew that education would be her life’s work. Few professions have such an enormous impact on the lives of others. Like many educators, she began her career as a teacher at a brick-and-mortar school. Eventually, she advanced to assistant principal and then principal, also in brick-and-mortar settings.
Mrs. Hayes made the switch to online education at the Rhode Island Connections Academy. She joined TEC Connections Academy recently, in January 2023, coming on board as an interim assistant principal. At the end of the school year in June, her position became permanent.
She loves the curricular and scheduling flexibility that Connections Academy can offer. For many students and their families, it provides a fundamentally better learning experience.
