Student Records
Massachusetts Connections Academy is transitioning to fully digital student records. All available physical records will be destroyed on June 17, 2026. Digital records will be securely maintained for at least seven years.
Please note that Massachusetts Connections Academy does not have physical records for all students. If you would like to request a copy of your student’s physical records, you may schedule a pickup at the Massachusetts Connections Academy office on June 8 (9:00 AM–3:00 PM) or June 15 (9:00 AM–12:00 PM).
Before scheduling a pickup, please complete this form so we can confirm whether physical records are available. Due to limited files, do not arrange pickup until you receive confirmation from Massachusetts Connections Academy.
Students age 17 and older must request their own records.
Massachusetts Connections Academy State-Required Information
The federal Every Students Succeed Act (ESSA) requires all states, school districts, and schools to provide annual report cards to parents and communities. The report card includes data about test results, attendance, graduation rates, and certification status of teachers.
Physical Education Requirement
Per MA General Law Chapter 71 Section 3, physical education is a required subject for all Massachusetts Connections Academy students each year in grades K-12. Specific requirements by grade level are:
- All students in grades K-5 will be enrolled in PE/Health for the duration of each school year.
- All students in grades 6-12 will have one semester of PE each year.
