High School Student - Maine Connections Academy
Hunter is a high school student at Maine Connections Academy (MCA). He lives with his family in Norridgewock, Maine. Hunter is excelling academically and is an active participant in his virtual classes. He completes all of his coursework on time—all while balancing a busy schedule outside the classroom:
When Hunter isn’t engaged in his schoolwork, he is committed to improving his ice hockey skills. He says, “I am very passionate about hockey and I try to practice all the time. A day after I had a state tournament, I got an email from the Madison Capitals, a United States Hockey League (USHL) junior team, inviting me to their showcase tournament in Pennsylvania! I’m very thankful for this opportunity. and the flexibility of MCA helped make it possible.
Hunter now plays for the Northern Cyclones National team, which is based out of Hudson, New Hampshire. He was also recently selected as MCA’s student of the month.
