Megan Howe began her teaching career in 2017 and joined Coastal Connections Academy in 2024, where she teaches Exceptional Student Education to students in grades K–5.
Why She Became a Teacher
“I’ve always wanted to be a teacher since I was in kindergarten,” says Mrs. Howe. “My teachers throughout the years have helped shape me to become the educator I am today. I fell in love with teaching when I took a program in high school that let us go to classrooms around the district and teach lessons and learn from teachers across grade levels.”

Personal Interests
“Outside of teaching, my interests are reading, writing, and being the best mom I can be to my three wonderful children,” reports Mrs. Howe. “I hope to be an author one day.”
