Connections Academy at Springs Kicks Off The 2025-2026 School Year With College & Career Readiness Program
On August 20th, 2025, Connections Academy at Springs, a tuition-free online public charter school program, welcomed K-11 students back to its virtual classrooms to officially kick off the 2025-2026 school year on August 19, 2025. Now in its second year of operation, the school serves families across Southern California with a high-quality educational experience that keeps students motivated and engaged with a strong circle of support and a deep sense of belonging.
Open to students in Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties, Connections Academy at Springs offers a California standards-aligned curriculum and a dynamic online learning platform designed to support both academic achievement and personal growth. The school’s team of supportive and experienced educators, specially trained in online instruction, establish meaningful connections with students helping them achieve their full potential and reach their goals.
This year, the school will launch a College and Early Career Readiness offering for middle and high school students. This new program will equip students with durable skills like leadership, critical thinking and teamwork. Students can participate in career exploration and industry networking opportunities to build confidence, make connections and find direction to prepare for their future.

Connections Academy at Springs is offered in partnership with Springs Charter Schools, a network of tuition-free, WASC-accredited public charter schools in Southern California. The school maintains rigorous academic expectations and provides families with a high level of involvement and customization. Students have access to core classes, a variety of electives, and virtual clubs and field trips – all within a flexible learning environment.

As a public charter school, Connections Academy at Springs is tuition-free and students meet the same academic standards and testing requirements as those in traditional schools.
Though the school year is underway, enrollment is still open for grades K-11. Southern California families interested in Connections Academy at Springs are encouraged to attend an online information session to learn more, ask questions and discover if virtual school is the right fit for their student.
Survey Methodology
Connections Academy conducts the annual Parent Satisfaction Survey to find out how parents, guardians and Learning Coaches grade the program in several key areas. The 2024-2025 School Year survey was conducted from January 15 to February 26, 2025 by Shapiro + Raj, an independent market research company that created the questionnaire, collected the data and tabulated the results. Parents and caretakers of all students enrolled at the time of the survey were invited to complete the survey online.
