They live in a rural community and only had one in-person option for her. Alison says opting for an online system like Arizona Connections Academy proved to be a positive choice, providing a more functional and effective learning environment for Lorelei. She decided to return to in-person school the following year, but this year, Lorelei is returning due to concerns about bullying at her previous school, where she didn't feel safe. "Arizona Connections Academy naturally became the ideal choice for her return," said Alison. "The flexibility of the learning schedule and the quality of the teachers are aspects we appreciate. We also love that Arizona Connections Academy offers options for gifted students and has the ability to challenge her."

Beyond academics, Lorelei enjoys spending time with her friends and has a passion for digital art. She also enjoys competing in Cowboy Mounted Shooting with her horse, Ranger, and showing goats and turkeys for 4H.
