I am very excited for the future of online education, especially in Wyoming! We are such a large and beautiful state with a culture all its own. Wyoming Connections Academy (WYCA) helps serve the needs of individual students by offering comprehensive curriculum, supportive teachers, and flexibility for families.
I remember first starting as a teacher for WYCA and being amazed at the program and opportunities it provides. I have always wanted to be in education and used to regularly tell my family I would be a fourth and fifth grade teacher. In the last few years, I have been lucky enough to do just that for WYCA, and now have the privilege of serving our students as principal and school leader. My ultimate goal for education is to always aim for what is best for the student and provide the support that he or she needs to be successful.
WYCA provides learning opportunities and choices for students, opening up endless possibilities for their future!
Hobbies and Interests
I grew up in several places around Wyoming, but always called Cody home as it was the place we always came back to. I graduated from Cody High School and attended Northwest College in Powell. My family and I now call Powell home and we love the community here! It is amazing how we travel around the state and always seem to run into one of our Connections families.
