Why I Became a Teacher

I became a teacher to improve the educational outcomes of struggling students. I started my career in education as an AmeriCorp member serving at a work-based alternative high school in Eugene, Oregon, and fell in love with teaching.

My favorite aspect of teaching at Wyoming Connections Academy is getting to know the families and watching students excel when they’re provided with different learning opportunities.

The Online School Experience at Wyoming Connections Academy

This school prepares students for the future by providing a strong curriculum, coupled with staff and family support that teaches them how to take control of their learning. Parents thinking about enrolling their student here should keep in mind that this school allows for the personalization of learning while giving your family flexibility that works for you and your child.

My Interests

In my free time, I like to hike, backpack, go to the lake, ski, and hang out with my family and dogs.

“What makes this school community special is the commitment of our families and our staff."
