"To be honest, I didn’t want to join Tennessee Connections Academy at first because I didn’t want to leave my old school. But when I saw how flexible the schedule was and how much the school had to offer, I wanted to stay. It provided me the opportunity to learn from my classes better than ever before.
I’m most passionate about my faith, and the flexibility allowed me to work my schedule around church, and it wouldn't interfere with services. Another thing that I’m passionate about is my family. Tennessee Connections Academy helped me to have more time to spend with them while doing school, whereas in brick-and-mortar school, I would be worn out by it for most of the afternoon. Finally, I’m passionate about music, and the schedule helped me to have time to practice at the times I chose.
My relationship with all my teachers was surprisingly good. You would think that in an online school, it would be hard to have relationships with teachers from far away. However, you can get in contact with them very easily. I just WebMail messaged with my teachers whenever I had a question, and I usually received feedback the next day. If I wanted, I could even talk on video. This is not to mention that the teachers were awesome and really helpful.
