Julia Moser is a graduate student from Oklahoma Connections Academy. Julia was formerly homeschooled and found that she had more confidence in her schoolwork while she attended Oklahoma Connections Academy. She shares more below.
"I loved my teachers at Oklahoma Connections Academy because they were all so friendly, and we got along great. I was able to work around my schedule with school, and when I finished my classes, I’d read until my LiveLesson® session started. I especially loved reading about and studying reptiles. Some of my school friends and I liked to read together in book clubs, and to keep in touch, we usually texted or used WebMail.
I used to be homeschooled, but I didn't feel like I was doing enough work. At Oklahoma Connections Academy, I could get more work done because when it gets hard to concentrate, I could take a break and then go back to my studies. What worked for me at Oklahoma Connections Academy is that I was able to make my schedule and work ahead if I wanted to. I loved science class; I especially liked researching density and the way that particles are affected by temperature. My other favorite subject was social studies because I want to travel when I am older."
