Wyatt May is one of Great River Connections Academy’s Students of the Month in recognition of his outstanding achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.
Finding Support and Friendship
Wyatt is in the sixth grade at Great River Connections Academy. According to his mother, she enrolled him in our school in 2019 following the recommendation of a family friend. She believed Wyatt needed a different learning environment to meet his needs.
Wyatt says he likes attending Great River Connections Academy because he gets more help from his teachers, and he gets to make new friends.
According to Principal Jason Swinehart, “Our Students of the Month demonstrate leadership and an extraordinary commitment to learning while serving as strong role models for their peers.”
