Megan graduated at the top of her class at Michigan Connections Academy, despite living with a life-threatening genetic illness. She will attend the University of Michigan.
Megan achieved remarkable accomplishments throughout her high school career at Michigan Connections Academy — despite living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a life-threatening genetic illness.
She graduated at the top of her class, with a 4.33 cumulative GPA; scored 1520 on her SATs (a perfect score is 1600); and was on the honor roll throughout all four years of high school.
What’s next for Megan? She’ll attend the University of Michigan, where she received a Victors Award scholarship, and will pursue a dual major in biochemistry and business with an eye on a career in genetic research. Megan also plans to create a social media platform to increase awareness for Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
