PPrior to joining MCA, Mr. Taffel had 12 years of experience serving the special needs community. He was a special education teacher at the Connecticut Center for Child Development, a transition specialist at Montpelier High School, and a special education teacher and pod leader at the New School of Montpelier.
He says, “I have always felt that it is important for students to have options and to learn in an individualized way. MCA provides a great opportunity for students to learn in an innovative and flexible way. Teachers are actively working to personalize student learning to make it unique for each child.
