Graduate
A recent graduate of our school, Nicole is an accomplished artist accepted into a number of prestigious art schools and universities. Nicole’s creativity knows no bounds, and her dedication to her craft inspires us all.
Nicole P. is on a mission to succeed as an artist. The recent Georgia Connections Academy graduate has been serious about art for many years, saying, “I always said to the kids in my elementary art class that I’m gonna be an artist when I grow up.”
The flexibility of our online school gave Nicole the freedom she needed to pursue her passion. According to Nicole, “I want to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration and, after college, hopefully land myself in a solid career illustrating books or concept art for animated shows or movies. … As of now, I’ve gained acceptance to Kennesaw State University’s College of Art and Design … to the School of Visual Arts in New York City … and to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an $88,000 merit scholarship award.”
We look forward to seeing what amazing things are in store not only for Nicole, but for all our Georgia Connections Academy graduates.
