Graduate
Claudia is valedictorian of the graduating class of 2023. She will attend the University of Georgia and has big plans for the future.
Reports Claudia, “I’ve had the pleasure of attending this school since ninth grade. Throughout my journey here, I’ve held leadership positions in a variety of clubs — including Student Council (president), Beta Club (president), Spanish National Honor Society (president), Peer Mentor, and DECA (vice president of finance). During my sophomore year, I started the Mock Trial Club due to my desire to become a lawyer. For two years, I had the honor of being selected to represent Georgia Connections Academy at the Governor’s Honor Program event in the history category.
“Apart from academics, I enjoy volunteering with Food4Life, which helps homeless people throughout Athens. I also enjoy reading, attending honor society conventions, and spending time with family and friends. In the fall, I’ll attend the University of Georgia, where I’ll major in psychology and minor in political science.”
“After getting my bachelor’s degree, I plan to go to law school and specialize in medical malpractice law.”
