Why I Became a Teacher

I became a teacher because I relish those moments when something finally clicks with a student, and they are at their best.

The Benefits of K-12 Online Learning

I love to spend more time with students in a one-on-one manner. I’m not constantly trying to divide my attention between many people at once. When teaching at an online school, you get to know the whole family. I spend time talking to parents and get to know more about the students’ lives outside of the classroom.

The Online School Experience at Oklahoma Connections Academy

Students who attend Oklahoma Connections Academy get a comprehensive curriculum that challenges them. They learn time management and self-motivation.

At the elementary level, parents play a big role. Students aren’t at the point where they can just learn from a computer. Learning Coach involvement is necessary for student success.

I love to spend more time with students in a one-on-one manner.

My Interests

I like to travel and take pictures. I also spend time camping and reading.
