Maddox Brown, an 11th grader with Colorado Connections Academy, is a competitive motocross racer who travels the country and already has several sponsors - ranging from Moose Racing, EKS Brand Goggles, Defy Graphics, MotoAdventure Kawasaki, Mika Metals, and more.

Maddox started riding when he was 8 years old and started racing competitively a few months later. He was quick to get into racing and will tell you that it took a lot of work to get to the point where he is - he'll also say that racing is his whole life.

Maddox focused on local races until he was 14 years old, he then switched to racing nationally. Maddox rides several days a week and focuses on fitness when he's not on the track. He trains in Texas throughout the year with his coach BJ Burns. With the time and dedication for racing nationally, Maddox made the jump to online school which allows him the flexibility to complete his schoolwork on his own time. Going pro is Maddox's main goal and he knows that his education is setting him up for his future - he can still get the education he needs while pursuing his motocross passion.

Maddox most recently attended the Ponca City South Central Youth Regional Championship in Ponca City, Okla. He will attend the Mini-O's in Florida, and then the 2024 Spring Nationals in Texas (which serve as area qualifiers).
