Tabatha Jackson

District Test Coordinator

Ms. Jackson is a District Test Coordinator at Arizona Connections Academy. She began teaching in 2000 and joined Arizona Connections Academy in 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Arizona University.

When asked about why she enjoys teaching at Arizona Connections Academy, Ms. Jackson responded:

“The main reason I love teaching at Arizona Connections Academy is because I have the ability to personalize each student’s learning experience to make it beneficial and successful for all of them! I enjoy working with the elementary age group. It’s an exciting time of learning and discovery, and I love being a part of it! Students are able to work at a slower or faster pace, complete lessons, and still have time for other interests. Our school offers each student the opportunity to be a well-rounded, well-educated individual. Students aren’t forced into a ‘box’, but are instead encouraged to be themselves. I am able to create meaningful relationships with every student and collaborate with his or her parents to ensure a positive school environment. I believe that the amount of parent involvement/contact in this program makes all the difference in student success.

Unlike a traditional bricks-and-mortar school, online school provides students with more flexible scheduling and countless helpful resources and programs. From Headsprout® and Raz-Kids®, to Math-Whizz® and SkillsTutor®, these programs add an interactive, engaging component to learning not offered in a bricks-and-mortar school.”
