Misty Little
Counselor
Misty Little is a school counselor at Arizona Connections Academy. She has been a school counselor since 2004 and has worked at Arizona Connections Academy since 2010. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in counselor education at The Ohio State University. Ms. Little shares more about her experience below:
“I became a school counselor because I know how education can change lives. I want to help students recognize all the wonderful possibilities for themselves, aim high, and reach their goals. I love getting to know my students and helping them to plan for the future.
With the flexibility that our program provides students, they must learn to be very responsible and manage their time well, which are skills that they will need when they go on to future schooling or employment. My favorite moment every year is watching our students cross the stage at our graduation ceremony.”
