Laurie Conaway

Ms. Conaway started teaching in 2005 and has been with Arizona Connections Academy since 2011. According to Ms. Conaway, the best part of her job as a school counselor is building relationships with students.
"Working with young people is my passion. Advocating for students and working with their parents as a team is very rewarding. Following a student’s journey through high school, and then getting to see them earn a diploma, makes me happy year after year.
This school has students from every walk of life. That’s a bonus in my job, because the students teach me what’s happening in so many aspects of life that I may not have learned about otherwise."
