Jessica Harrison
Middle School Teacher
Jessica Harrison is a middle school science teacher and gifted and talented science teacher at Arizona Connections Academy. Ms. Harrison is also Arizona Connections Academy’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) coordinator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in education from Grand Canyon University. She began teaching in 2010 and joined Arizona Connections Academy in 2012. She shares more about herself below:
“I became a teacher because I love to learn and share my expertise with others. I enjoy working with students because they tend to see things in a unique way. Arizona Connections Academy students tend to be very motivated to learn, and it’s such a privilege to work with these students.
I also enjoy working with parents to help their child succeed. We have a partnership that helps students learn, grow, and develop both in school and at home. Parents are really the heroes because they work with their child daily.”
