"I started teaching in 2016 and I have had the honor of teaching junior high ELA and Social Studies in five different cities and three states before joining Arizona Connections Academy in 2022.
Almost everywhere I go people ask me why junior high? The answer is, I found out I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 8th grade sitting in a study hall. For all its difficulties, I know junior high is a special time in a person’s life and I love being a part of it.
Since 2020 I have been teaching online and I have missed the comradery of a brick-and-mortar school. Arizona Connections Academy has provided me with that same feeling again. I hope I can bring the same sense of community to you and your family as we go on this journey together."
