Crystal Moore
Middle School Teacher
Crystal Moore is a middle school social studies teacher at Arizona Connections Academy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in family resources and human development and her master’s degree in secondary education before joining Arizona Connections Academy in 2015. She shares more about herself below:
“I wanted to be an educator since I was a child. This is a testament to the great teachers I had. When I graduated high school and attended college, I decided to go a different route from education. However, I decided to come back to education and pursue a master’s degree.
I love working with the diverse students here at Arizona Connections Academy. I also love that I get to work with students from all over the state. Our school creates a welcoming community by allowing everyone to have a say and taking action based on feedback received. We also have fun activities throughout the year so that we can all interact with each other.
Arizona Connections Academy helps students prepare for a bright future by giving them the tools needed to succeed. In an online school students use a lot of technology that they may not in a brick-and-mortar setting. Online school is also different because it allows students to work more at their own pace. Homeroom calls allow teachers and students to get to know each other more, and getting to know my students is my favorite part of my job!”
