Arizona Connections Academy aligns with all Arizona state standards and is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of by Cognia.

How Much Does Arizona Connections Academy Middle School Cost?

Arizona Connections Academy is 100 percent tuition free! Like other public schools, Arizona Connections Academy is fully funded by the state, allowing us to provide a high-quality learning experience aligned with Arizona educational standards at no cost to families.

There are no hidden fees—just like at traditional brick and mortar schools, families are only responsible for school supplies, optional in-person field trips and internet. Arizona Connections Academy families may request one computer per student.

How Does Our Online Middle School Work?

Students spend 30 hours per week learning and growing.

  • 75% of each school day is spent exploring lessons online
  • 25% of each school day is spent working independently offline or with a Learning Coach

Middle school students complete a mix of independent work in our dedicated online learning portal and regularly scheduled LiveLesson® sessions with peers and their middle school teachers.

They also spend valuable quality time with their Learning Coach, typically a role filled by a parent or caregiver who supports their learning throughout the school day.

Through this approach, students can learn where and when work best for them—while benefiting from a strong circle of support that includes their peers, families, and talented educators.

Our Online Curriculum for Grades 6–8

Created by experts in online learning, our curriculum helps challenge and inspire middle school students in grades 6–8. Your student will gain a solid foundation through core courses and take electives that match their unique interests like foreign languages, music, art, and more.

We also offer gifted and talented courses, built to inspire a lifelong love for learning and to help students reach their highest potential.
