Why I Became a Teacher
I became a teacher because there is nothing that brings me greater joy than to watch a child that feels loved, valued, and respected flourish into an amazing learner.
The Online School Experience at Great River Connections Academy
I love teaching at Great River Connections Academy because the staff shares the same vision—we all work toward providing the best education possible for each student. I also enjoy getting to know my students' families, an opportunity that is not as accessible in a brick-and-mortar school.
At the beginning and end of each LiveLesson®, I always give my students a chance to socialize in the chat box. I also build in sharing times. We help prepare students to be organized, self-motivated, and resourceful!
