High School Graduation Requirements
Students must successfully earn a minimum of 23 credits to graduate, complete a graduation project, take a college entrance exam, and also pass state tests. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. The course credits required to graduate include:
- Language arts: 4.5 credits
- Math: 3 credits (including Algebra, Geometry and any other Math course)
- Science: 3 credits (including Biology, Physical Science and any other Science course)
- Social studies: 2.5 credits (U.S. History, Government, and Economics)
- Health and Physical Education: 0.5 credits
- Humanities: 1 credit
- Additional required electives: 8.5 credits
