Why I Became a Teacher
I always knew I wanted to be in a helping profession. Since my mom was a Kindergarten teacher and my Dad was in the mental health field, becoming a school counselor seemed like a natural fit. I love helping students become self-driven learners and discover their career paths. My favorite part of my job is seeing the successes of students who otherwise might have fallen through the cracks. It makes everything worth it!
